Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JD Wildstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arshnoor Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wildstein comes to the cage accompanied by Bring It On. Singh has chosen 2Pac - Hit 'Em Up as his entrance music. Arshnoor Singh acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
47 - 19 - 5, fighting out of Montreal, JD Wildstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
47 - 23 - 4, fighting out of Montreal, Arshnoor Singh! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh misses with a leg kick. Wildstein wants to clinch but Singh slips to the side and Singh makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Wildstein throws a nice outside leg kick. Wildstein moves out of range of the strikes. Singh moves out of range as Wildstein throws a body kick.
Singh flicks out a counter leg kick but Wildstein steps away. Wildstein misses with a body shot.
Wildstein throws a low kick but Singh moves out of range easily. Wildstein swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A countering left hand to the body from Singh misses. Singh scores with the left hand. Wildstein knows he should have avoided that one. Singh looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Wildstein shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Singh keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wildstein content to control rather than advance. Wildstein wants to control but Singh is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wildstein stops Singh from getting back to his feet.
Wildstein is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Singh is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Nice strikes from Wildstein there. Wildstein drops an elbow to the side of Singh's head. Wildstein takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wildstein looks to land a strike but Singh avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Wildstein with a flurry of punches that miss. Wildstein slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Singh wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Wildstein is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Singh pulls Wildstein in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wildstein gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Wildstein counters with a slapping leg kick. Wildstein plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Wildstein goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Wildstein takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A telegraphed right hand from Singh misses the target. Singh fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Wildstein lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Singh is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wildstein rather than just go for the knockout. Wildstein throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Singh scores with a nice head shot. Wildstein moves out of range as Singh throws a body kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wildstein. Singh throws out a token jab with nothing on it. This has been an exciting period of action! Singh throws a nice outside leg kick. Wildstein fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Singh lands a front kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Singh as Wildstein shoots in. Singh lands a front kick. Arshnoor Singh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wildstein throws the kick towards the body but Singh avoids it. A little jabbing left from Singh on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Singh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Singh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wildstein manages to avoid it. Singh looks to land a right hand but Wildstein moved out of range. Wildstein swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Wildstein fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Singh on the side of the head. Singh misses with a leg kick. Singh takes a swing at Wildstein's ribcage but misses. Singh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wildstein defending well as Singh loads up on a big left hand. Singh sizes up Wildstein with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Wildstein waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Singh. Singh slips a jab and a cross from Wildstein.
Singh swings for the body but Wildstein moves out of range.
Singh throws a body punch but Wildstein moves out of range. Singh misses with a straight left. Wildstein throws a leg kick but Singh checks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Arshnoor Singh will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wildstein feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Singh's calf. We've been informed that Singh has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Singh throws a jab when Wildstein was well out of range. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Wildstein with a hook. Arshnoor Singh seems to be getting the better of the standup. Singh throws a low kick but Wildstein avoids it. Singh gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Wildstein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Singh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wildstein somewhat. Singh on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wildstein. Wildstein obviously looking to wear him down.
Singh lands a leg kick that knocks Wildstein off balance momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Singh connects with a leg kick. Wildstein looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Wildstein lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Wildstein throws out a leg kick but Singh moves out of range and Wildstein only half commits. Singh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wildstein.

That's one minute gone in the round. Singh throws an overhand right that lands on Wildstein's shoulder, as Wildstein tries to avoid the shot. Wildstein takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Singh throws a leg kick which misses Wildstein's front leg but catches the back leg as Wildstein tries to avoid it. The fighters circling - Singh throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Singh keeps the fight on the outside. Singh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wildstein. Wildstein throws a nice inside leg kick. Wildstein tries a head kick but it misses.
Singh fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wildstein on the side of the head. A shot to the liver by Singh. Beautiful body shot. Wildstein thumps Singh with a low kick. Wildstein avoids a kick to the body.
Wildstein lands an overhand right. Singh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Singh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wildstein moves away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wildstein misses with a straight right. Singh only half commits to the counter leg kick. Wildstein throws a big shot that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh scores with the left hand. Wildstein knows he should have avoided that one. Wildstein throws a body punch but Singh moves out of range. Singh now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Singh takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Wildstein closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Singh did well to prevent Wildstein getting side control. Singh is trying to stand.
Singh tries to roll over but Wildstein keeps him under control. Wildstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wildstein throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Singh keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wildstein thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Singh's head. Singh is not content to let Wildstein control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Singh dips to his left and cracks Wildstein with an uppercut! Singh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wildstein was well out of range. Poor timing from Singh. Wildstein fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wildstein connects with a good right hand that stumbles Singh. Singh circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Singh throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wildstein stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Wildstein throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Singh was covering up waiting for the punch and Wildstein finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wildstein trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Singh holds on and takes a little breather.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Singh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wildstein is controlling Singh's trapped leg to prevent Singh from advancing to side control. It looks like Singh is going to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Arshnoor Singh will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Wildstein lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Singh circles away quickly and effectively. Wildstein just misses with a punch to the body.

Singh connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Wildstein throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A good leg kick by Singh. Wildstein throws a wild body kick that Singh sees coming a mile off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Singh lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Wildstein dives in for a single leg takedown but Singh sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Singh throws the kick towards the body but Wildstein avoids it. Wildstein scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wildstein just misses with a punch to the body.
Wildstein pushes Singh away with a front kick. Wildstein goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Wildstein misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wildstein misses the shot to the body. JD Wildstein has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Arshnoor Singh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Wildstein looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wildstein throws a hook but Singh avoids it easily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Singh, right into the meat.

Singh avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Singh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Singh throws a body punch but Wildstein moves out of range. Singh slips a jab from Wildstein. Singh only half commits to the counter leg kick. Singh fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wildstein has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Singh scores with a push kick. Wildstein is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Singh throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

It looks like Arshnoor Singh has been cut. Wildstein misses the shot to the body. Wildstein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Singh was well out of range. Poor timing from Wildstein. Singh feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wildsteins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Wildstein pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Singh looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Wildstein checks the leg kick. Nice shot lands for Singh. Singh has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Singh scores with a hook to the body. Wildstein takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Singh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nice defenses there by Singh. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Singh!
And that's the end of the fight! Arshnoor Singh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Singh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
