Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samir Lemaitre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silas Monk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lemaitre comes to the cage accompanied by La Marseillaise. Monk has chosen Ave Maria as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Silas Monk!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemaitre tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Monk defends well and Lemaitre ends up having to push Monk into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lemaitre throws the left hand but Monk avoids the punch easily.
A shot to the body from Lemaitre misses
and Lemaitre takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Samir Lemaitre has been cut.
Lemaitre swings for the body but Monk moves out of range.
Lemaitre misses with a left hand
and Monk counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Monk feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lemaitre sprawling to the canvas! Lemaitre rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Monk finish him?!
Lemaitre is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Monk weaves into range and cracks Lemaitre right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Lemaitre goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Monk is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Silas Monk!
In his post fight interview, Silas Monk gave a big smile as he said 'I farted'.
