Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solis instigates a clinch.
Partridge drags the fight down to the ground.
Solis throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Partridge is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Solis is aware though and is defending well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Solis connects with a nice short shot to Partridge 's temple.
Solis winds up and cracks Partridge with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Solis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Partridge 's head.
Partridge manages to get to full guard.
Partridge has his foot on Solis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Solis works his way back into a safe position though.

Partridge has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Solis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Solis avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Solis really is a fat lump.
Partridge is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Partridge is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Solis is aware though and is defending well.

Solis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Solis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Partridge 's head.
Partridge is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Solis defends well.
Solis works over Partridge with some ground and pound from guard.

Partridge pushes a forearm under Solis's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Solis is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
