Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davison comes to the cage accompanied by Not Today by Sevendust. Gordon has chosen Battle Born - 5FDP as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Davison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louis Gordon! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davison takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Gordon stuffs the takedown attempt from Davison. Davison gets slowly back to his feet. Davison has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gordon. Davison blocks a head kick by Gordon.
Davison is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Davison misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A momentary lapse in concentration from Gordon enables Davison to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gordon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gordon is trying to keep Davison in close.

Gordon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gordon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davison is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davison avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Davison throwing strikes but missing. Gordon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Davison lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Davison scoring with some ground and pound. Davison trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Davison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Davison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Davison won't allow Gordon to get back to his feet. Davison content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gordon wants to stand and escape but Davison is having none of it. Davison is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Gordon is rocked! Davison postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Gordon's head off the mat! Gordon is out! He's out! Davison jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chris Davison! An out of breath Chris Davison thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
