Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terrell Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samu Voutilainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voutilainen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Girls wanna have fun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Voutilainen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Davis misses with a head kick.
Davis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Davis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Voutilainen blocks a head kick by Davis.
A jab-cross combination lands for Voutilainen and sends Davis crashing to the mat! Voutilainen follows him down to the mat - Davis regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Terrell Davis has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Voutilainen moves out of range as Davis throws a body kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Terrell Davis will probably get the nod.

Good leg kick by Davis there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Voutilainen as he jumps to the side.

Voutilainen gets control of Davis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Voutilainen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Davis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Voutilainen throws a head kick that misses.
Davis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Voutilainen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Voutilainen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Voutilainen which made him look bad.
Terrell Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Voutilainen closes the distance and clinches up with Davis, looking for a takedown. Voutilainen pushes Davis against the cage but Davis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Voutilainen shoots in for a double leg but Davis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Davis tries a low kick but Voutilainen avoids it.

Voutilainen rushes Davis and presses him up against the cage.

Davis turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Davis manages to end up in side control.
