Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sanjit Babatunde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stergios Grivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grivas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My Curse-Killswitch kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Grivas.
Grivas has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Babatunde is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Grivas connects with a solid leg kick.
Grivas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Babatunde.
Babatunde forces Grivas back against the cage and clinches.
Grivas lands with a left to the head.
Grivas is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Grivas has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Babatunde is trying to drag Grivas to the mat but Grivas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Babatunde keeps control of Grivas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Babatunde gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Grivas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Babatunde is working away from the top position though.
Grivas tries to roll over but Babatunde keeps him under control.
Grivas looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grivas trying to hold on to Babatunde's head to control him but Babatunde postures up.
Babatunde is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Grivas is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Babatunde connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Babatunde working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Grivas turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Babatunde off and cradles Grivas's limp body as Babatunde celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Sanjit Babatunde!
