Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Carlyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Cuida!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuida fails with a takedown attempt.
Carlyle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cuida connects with a crisp jab.
Carlyle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cuida throws out the jab.
Carlyle throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cuida on the side of the head.
Carlyle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Carlyle checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Cuida on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Cuida throws a leg kick but Carlyle sees it coming and moves out of range.
Carlyle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cuida doesn't seem bothered though.
Cuida ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Carlyle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Carlyle dips to his left and cracks Cuida with an uppercut!

Cuida jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cuida throws an overhand right that lands on Carlyle's shoulder, as Carlyle tries to avoid the shot.
Cuida tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carlyle was well out of range. Poor timing from Cuida.

Carlyle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cuida throws a low kick but Carlyle moves out of range easily.

Carlyle jabs Cuida to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Carlyle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cuida manages to avoid it.
Cuida tries to clinch
and Carlyle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cuida has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Carlyle.
Cuida misses with a body kick.
Carlyle throws a big counter combination but Cuida scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Carlyle misses with a hook.
Carlyle throws a shot to the body.
Cuida misses with a straight right.
Carlyle feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cuida's calf.
Carlyle misses with a hook.
Cuida throws a hook but Carlyle blocks it.
A quick step to the side and Carlyle tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carlyle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Cuida takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Cuida tries to close the distance and clinch but Carlyle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cuida throws an overhand right that lands on Carlyle's shoulder, as Carlyle tries to avoid the shot.

Carlyle seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Carlyle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Cuida tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carlyle swivels and escapes.

Cuida drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Carlyle defends it well.
Cuida is looking to land body kicks.

Carlyle needs to keep his hands up - Cuida had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cuida blocks a head kick by Carlyle.
A left and a right from Carlyle both land. Nice combination.
Cuida is rocked!
Carlyle ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Cuida's jaw. Cuida's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Carlyle does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Charles Carlyle!
In defeat, Gray Cuida stepped up to the mic, saying 'This is why I run...'.
