Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Rackham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Akheem Flynn! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rackham misses the shot to the body. We've been informed that Flynn has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Rackham tests Flynn's chin there with a solid looking shot. Rackham throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Flynn counters with a left to the body. Flynn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rackham sprawls well. Rackham wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Flynn gets slowly back to his feet. As Flynn backs away, Rackham returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Flynn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rackham but Rackham pushes him off and we're back to square one. Flynn blocks a jab. Rackham definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Flynn on the wrong end of a nice jab. Flynn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jack Rackham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akheem Flynn. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flynn darts in looking for a takedown but Rackham gets double underhooks and turns Flynn into the cage. Rackham seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Rackham scores with a sloppy right hand. Flynn should have avoided that one. Nice uppercut lands for Rackham. That snapped Flynn's head back.
Flynn goes for a double leg but Rackham avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rackham continues to drive forward. Rackham pushes down on Flynn's head and hops out. Flynn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rackham's half guard. Rackham wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Rackham manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Flynn trying to control but Rackham is working from the bottom. Flynn wants to pass the guard but Rackham is keeping the position. Jack Rackham overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rackham wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Rackham sitting in guard, not really doing much. Flynn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rackham gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Flynn looking for subs off his back but Rackham has passed one foot through into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flynn tries to get to full guard but Rackham has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rackham is taking a breather. Flynn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Flynn looking for submissions off his back. Flynn is looking for a sweep. Rackham is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Flynn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Flynn looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rackham looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Flynn trying to control here.
Flynn is looking for a sweep. Rackham is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rackham takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Flynn shoots and misses and Rackham counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Akheem Flynn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rackham darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Flynn doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rackham connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Flynn is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rackham falls off balance throwing a combination

Flynn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rackham pinned against the cage. Rackham gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rackham stuffs the takedown attempt from Flynn. Flynn gets slowly back to his feet. Jack Rackham is winning the standup battle so far. Flynn tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rackham defends well and Flynn ends up having to push Rackham into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rackham is looking to counter punch. Jack Rackham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akheem Flynn. Rackham stuffs the takedown attempt from Flynn. Flynn gets slowly back to his feet. Flynn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rackham.

Flynn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rackham as he jumps to the side. Flynn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jab from Rackham. Flynn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Flynn is still on wobbly legs! Can Rackham finish him? Rackham is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Flynn can do to turn this around? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rackham throws a shot from downtown. Flynn moves away and avoids it. Flynn changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Flynn seems to have recovered his senses. Rackham getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Flynn moves out of range as Rackham strikes. Flynn shoots in but no luck this time. That's four minutes gone in the round. Flynn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The fighters circling - Flynn throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Flynn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rackham defends it nicely. A jab from Rackham finds it's way through Flynn's defenses. Rackham lands with a good body shot. Jack Rackham is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Flynn doesn't succeed with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Flynn fails with the takedown and Rackham counters with a nice low kick that buckles Flynn's knee momentarily. Rackham works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Rackham lands with a nice body punch.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Rackham showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rackham has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
