Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Krishna Pariyar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alora Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry has chosen stomp as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alora Henry !
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry fails to land with a series of punches.
Henry tries to clinch there but Pariyar circles away.
Pariyar appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Henry moves out of range of the strikes.

Pariyar looks to score with a jab to the body but Henry is just out of range.

A little feinted left hand from Pariyar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Alora Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pariyar wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Henry has a couple of punches blocked by Pariyar.
Pariyar fails to pull guard.
Henry tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Henry utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Henry unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pariyar lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Henry told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Pariyar is breathing heavily.

Pariyar manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Pariyar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Henry controls the pace.

Pariyar is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pariyar is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at FIERCE that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Henry is thwarting Pariyar's attempts to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Henry fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pariyar has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Henry .
Henry ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Pariyar throws a big counter combination but Henry scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alora Henry dominated that round.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Pariyar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henry sprawls well. Henry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pariyar gets slowly back to his feet.
Henry throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pariyar.
Henry displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pariyar throws out the jab.

As Henry backs away, Pariyar returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Pariyar takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Henry pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Henry throws a series of strikes that have Pariyar backpedaling.

A head kick from Henry lands but Pariyar takes it in his stride.


Krishna Pariyar's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Henry throws a sloppy head kick and Pariyar moves out of range easily.

Pariyar was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Henry lands with a nice combination. Pariyar backs away looking to recover.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pariyar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Henry as he jumps to the side.

Henry is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Pariyar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Krishna Pariyar's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Alora Henry !
Alora Henry got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
