Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyron Whittaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rembrandt Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmidt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. red barchetta- rush kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyron Whittaker !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rembrandt Schmidt!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Schmidt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Whittaker misses with a low kick.
Whittaker swings for the body but Schmidt moves out of range.
Schmidt lands with a good body shot.
Whittaker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Schmidt has time to react.
Whittaker throws a sloppy body shot
and Schmidt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Schmidt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Whittaker fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Whittaker throws a hook to the side of Schmidt's head but Schmidt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tyron Whittaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schmidt throws a right hand that Whittaker ducks under and follows up with a left that Whittaker also avoids with ease.
Schmidt walks into a jab.
It looks like Rembrandt Schmidt has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Whittaker misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Schmidt counters with a series of strikes. Whittaker will be more careful next time no doubt.
Schmidt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Schmidt throws a body punch but Whittaker moves out of range.
Whittaker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Whittaker wants to clinch but Schmidt slips to the side
and Schmidt counters with a straight that turns Whittaker 's legs to rubber! Schmidt pushes forward with more strikes and Whittaker goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rembrandt Schmidt!
Rembrandt Schmidt tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
