Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jodi Joe Fjera! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fjera tests Reed's chin there with a solid looking shot. Reed shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Reed working over Fjera with some ground and pound. Fjera looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Reed not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Reed sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fjera defending well though. Reed thows a huge punch but Fjera dodges it nicely.
Reed looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Reed throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Reed missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Reed thows a huge punch but Fjera dodges it nicely.
Reed working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Reed not landing any meaningful shots this time. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reed looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Reed connects with a nice short shot to Fjera's temple. Reed drops an elbow to the side of Fjera's head. Fjera has hold of Reed's hands but Reed slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Reed wants to pass to mount but Fjera is defending the position. Reed is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Reed is landing with some decent strikes but Fjera is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Fjera is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fjera is trying to escape the mount.
Reed lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Fjera! Reed sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Fjera and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Howland Reed!
