These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Locke scores with a sloppy right hand. McIntosh should have avoided that one.
Locke moves away from the strike by McIntosh.
McIntosh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McIntosh throws a looping overhand right but Locke ducks down to avoid it.
McIntosh misses with a series of wild punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Locke.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Locke misses with a few strikes there.
John Locke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Locke misses with an uppercut.

McIntosh is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Locke is controlling him well.

McIntosh is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Locke throws a strike aimed at the side of McIntosh's head but McIntosh avoids it well.
McIntosh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Locke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McIntosh tries to escape but Locke is in control.

Locke has hold of McIntosh's arm. He's looking for a kimura. McIntosh seems comfortable defending it but Locke has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! McIntosh is real pain and he's forced to tap out! McIntosh is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Locke couldn't care less - he's delighted!
