Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Turcotte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blood Seeker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blood Seeker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turcotte tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Seeker paws at him with a jab and circles away. Seeker lands with a straight right. Turcotte didn't see that one coming. Turcotte moves into the clinch successfully.
Seeker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Turcotte has him pressed against the cage. The referee calls for Turcotte to work.
Seeker wants to break free but Turcotte has control.
Turcotte unloads a knee to the mid-section. Seeker lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Turcotte tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Seeker just stands there and leans against the cage. Turcotte tries to pull guard but Seeker holds him up against the cage and eventually Turcotte drops back down to his feet.
Turcotte wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Turcotte. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turcotte keeps control of Seeker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Turcotte jumps guard and drags Seeker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Seeker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Turcotte looking for a sweep. Not yet Turcotte, not yet. Turcotte is working hard here to advance position. Turcotte had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Seeker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Turcotte Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Seeker's back instead. Seeker fending off the submission attempt from Turcotte.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turcotte controlling well, preventing Seeker from escaping the position.
Turcotte scores with punches and elbows. Turcotte is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Seeker knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Seeker for a finish. Turcotte missing with punches from the back. Seeker tries to escape but Turcotte has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turcotte throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Seeker controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Seeker showing good submission defense here.
Even with his hooks in, Turcotte manages to miss with strikes from the back. Turcotte has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Seeker has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Turcotte punches the canvas rather than the man. Turcotte misses with an elbow to the head. Seeker trying to get back to his feet but Turcotte is in full control for now. Turcotte is looking for the choke from the back position but Seeker is controlling his hands well. Turcotte is breathing heavily. Turcotte working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Seeker is trying to stand back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Seeker holding on to Turcotte's left wrist, preventing the choke. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seeker catches Turcotte with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nice defenses there by Turcotte. Seeker misses with a body shot.
Seeker throws a series of punches but Turcotte avoids them all with ease. Turcotte attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Nice uppercut there from Seeker. Seeker loads up on a big right hand but Turcotte slips the punch. Seeker throws a shot from downtown. Turcotte moves away and avoids it. Seeker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Turcotte at a distance.
Seeker lands a lovely overhand right. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Seeker waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Turcotte. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Turcotte to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Turcotte is rocked!
It looks like Dennis Turcotte has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Seeker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Oh Turcotte is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Seeker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turcotte working for a triangle but Seeker defends it easily.
Turcotte seems to have got his legs back now. Turcotte has a closed guard, preventing Seeker from standing up. Turcotte doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Turcotte has a closed guard, preventing Seeker from standing up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Seeker cracks Turcotte with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Turcotte moves into the clinch. Turcotte goes for a takedown in the clinch but Seeker prevents it.

Seeker wants to get back to striking at distance but Turcotte won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seeker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Seeker is looking to break free of the clinch but Turcotte has double underhooks. Seeker is pressed up against the cage. Turcotte has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Seeker down to the mat. Seeker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Seeker throws a jab when Turcotte was well out of range. Seeker lands a nice looking body shot.
Blood Seeker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turcotte wants to clinch. Seeker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turcotte circles away quickly and effectively. Seeker looks to land a right hand but Turcotte moved out of range. Jab, jab by Seeker - just one landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turcotte avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Seeker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Blood Seeker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dennis Turcotte's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Turcotte steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Seeker. Blood Seeker seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fighters circling - Seeker throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Seeker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Seeker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turcotte sees it coming and avoids it easily. Seeker misses with an uppercut. Turcotte saw that one coming. Seeker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turcotte sees it coming and avoids it easily. Turcotte walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Seeker throws an overhand right that drops Turcotte like a sack of potatoes! Seeker dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
