Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Alejandro - Lady Gaga. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alejandro Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Texas Pete! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Scott scores with a four punch combination! Pete blocks a jab. Scott tries to clinch but Pete is having none of it. Scott throws a sloppy head kick and Pete moves out of range easily. And Pete responds with a good body kick, but Scott manages to step out the way in time. Pete throws a low kick, looking for Scott's leg but Scott calmly moves out of range. Scott has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Unicorn Powered Fighting in the buildup to the fight. Pete throws the kick towards the body but Scott avoids it. Pete takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Pete throws a hook to the side of Scott's head but Scott sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Scott darts in trying to clinch and Pete counters with a left to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott wants to land a leg kick but Pete is out of range. Alejandro Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott tries to clinch up but Pete circles away and keeps his distance. Scott rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pete counters with a straight right hand. Pete tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Scott slips a jab from Pete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pete walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Scott tries to clinch there but Pete circles away.

Pete misses with a looping right. Scott scores with a spinning back kick! Scott scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pete in his tracks. Scott connects with a solid leg kick. Pete walks into a straight right hand from Scott. Scott throws a shot to the body.
Scott has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pete. Scott throws a push kick but Pete slaps the foot to one side. A nice side step and Pete releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Pete throws a low kick but Scott avoids it. Scott scores with a jab to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Pete looks to land a body kick but Scott moved away. Pete takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. A looping hook to the body misses from Pete. Scott does a little dance to reset his feet. Scott gets a clinch. Pete lands a left hand.
Scott tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pete just stands there and leans against the cage. Scott is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Pete throws a head punch that misses. Scott lands a nice shot to the body. Pete tries to work over Scott's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Scott misses with a punch to the body.

A shot in the inside from Pete. Scott presses Pete against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Pete breaks the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pete sees it coming and avoids it easily. Scott throws a lazy right hand but Pete sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Pete misses with a head kick.
Scott throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pete. Scott connects with a right hand. Pete shakes it off. Pete misses with a straight left. Pete changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Pete throws a body shot but no joy. Scott slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Pete lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Scott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pete. That did some damage! A big left from Pete misses. Pete dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott wants to clinch up but Pete keeps it at a distance. Scott wants to slow Pete down by chopping away at his legs. Pete fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This has been an exciting period of action! Scott thuds his shin into the meat of Pete's side. Pete takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Texas Pete has been cut. Pete lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Scott misses with an uppercut. Pete saw that one coming. Pete attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Scott missing with a left hand there. Pete was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Pete explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. A low kick from Pete misses and Scott counters with a nice leg kick. Scott throws a nice outside leg kick. Pete swings for the body but Scott moves out of range.

It looked like Scott was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pete. Pete misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pete tries to work over Scott's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A left hand lands to the body for Pete.
Scott is trying to pull guard but Pete turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Pete blocks a body shot from Scott. Scott tries to pull guard but Pete won't allow it.
Scott jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pete walks away with a smile on his face. Scott gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alejandro Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scott thows a leg kick but Pete checks it and Pete counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pete takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Scott takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Pete's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pete throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Scott counters with a nice uppercut. Scott moves away from the strike by Pete. The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A jab from Pete finds it's way through Scott's defenses. Scott throws a leg kick but Pete sees it coming and moves out of range. Scott goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Pete throws a sloppy head kick and Scott moves out of range easily. Pete scores with a spinning back kick! Scott moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Pete looks like he wants to counter punch here. Pete throws the kick towards the body but Scott avoids it. Scott scores with a shot to the body.

Scott throws a solid leg kick but Pete takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Scott. A little jabbing left from Pete on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Scott moves into the clinch. Scott pulls Pete into guard.

Pete must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pete controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Texas Pete will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Texas Pete's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pete creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Pete. A shot in the inside from Pete. Pete lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short right from Scott. Pete has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Scott. Pete can't find room to land a body shot as Scott controls the action.

Scott throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Scott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pete keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Pete doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Scott misses with a body kick. Pete let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Scott turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Scott tries to close the distance and clinch but Pete swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pete lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Scott has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Scott and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
