PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jako Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter White Iv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Walter White Iv was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jako Day!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter White Iv!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
White Iv tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Day counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
White Iv moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by White Iv or perhaps it was just good defense by Day, which made it look bad.
Day is looking for a counter combo.
Day misses with a body punch
and White Iv counters with a head kick.
Day swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
White Iv misses with a lunging right hand
and Day counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
White Iv closes the distance and clinches up with Day, looking for a takedown. White Iv pushes Day against the cage but Day circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

It looked like Day was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

White Iv takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As White Iv looks to move away, Day throws a big counter combo but White Iv just gets out of the way.

Day stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from White Iv.

That was a close round but I would say that Jako Day will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

White Iv jumps guard and drags Day to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as White Iv holds on and takes a little breather.

White Iv has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Day can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A close second round but Walter White Iv will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

White Iv keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Day's head.
