The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Socamo misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming. Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Socamo drops his shoulder and cracks Jones with a huge uppercut! Jones goes down! Can Socamo finish him?
Jones is rocked! Jones had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Socamo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jones Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Socamo's back instead. Socamo tries to escape the position.
Socamo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jones gets his way!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Socamo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Socamo connects with a jab. Socamo circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jones to the canvas! Jones doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Socamo keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
