Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Reginald Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bee Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reginald Brooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bee Jay!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay blocks a low kick nicely.
Brooks rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

so Jay counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jay wants to pass the guard but Brooks is keeping the position.
Brooks is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jay is looking for a sweep. Brooks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jay kicks off Brooks and gets to his feet.
Jay walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jay has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Brooks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jay gets to mount! Brooks was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Brooks is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Less Than Zero, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Jay walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Jay closes the distance and clinches.

Jay gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Brooks regains guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brooks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Brooks is looking to take a break and control but Jay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
