Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Zharkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Millennium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Andrei Zharkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Millennium! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zharkov throws a hook but Millennium avoids it easily. Millennium closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The strikes coming from Millennium are missing the target in this wave of attacks. You can see the frustration on Zharkov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Zharkov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Millennium wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Zharkov gets back to half guard. Millennium is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Zharkov is controlling Millennium's trapped leg to prevent Millennium from advancing to side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Millennium thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zharkov's head. Zharkov wants to control but Millennium is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Millennium is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Zharkov has managed to free his arm - good work. Zharkov is looking for a sweep. Millennium is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Zharkov tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Zharkov regains full guard. Nicely done. Millennium is looking to work some ground and pound but Zharkov has wrist control. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zharkov is on top in guard.
Millennium has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Zharkov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Millennium has tightened it up now! Zharkov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chris Millennium! A very excited looking Chris Millennium made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
