Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between I Know Wrestling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Cottero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, I Know Wrestling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
36 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy Cottero! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrestling fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cottero tries to sprawl but Wrestling drives through with a takedown into half guard. Cottero tries to get to full guard but Wrestling has control of the leg. Wrestling knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cottero on the ground. Cottero trying to control here.
Wrestling throws a strike but Cottero avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Wrestling controls from within his opponent's guard. Wrestling is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Bonsai Club MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cottero is pulling down on Wrestling's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cottero keeping moving, preventing Wrestling from controlling successfully. Cottero has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wrestling can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cottero looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wrestling has picked Cottero up and slammed him! Cottero can't keep hold of the triangle and Wrestling manages to pass to side control! Cottero tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wrestling wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cottero trying to remain calm as Wrestling controls from the top position. Cottero wants to control but Wrestling postures up. Wrestling wants to control but Cottero is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wrestling is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cottero is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Cottero gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cottero actively working from the bottom here. Cottero wants to control but Wrestling is keeping busy.

Cottero tries to get to full guard but Wrestling has control of the leg. Wrestling slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cottero is holding on to half guard well. Cottero gets full guard. Cottero looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cottero is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wrestling is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Wrestling won't allow Cottero to sweep him here. Wrestling wants to stand but Cottero has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Wrestling trying to control the position from guard on top but Cottero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wrestling would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Cottero throws a nice looking combination but Wrestling bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wrestling closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cottero did well to prevent Wrestling getting side control. Cottero blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wrestling. Wrestling not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Cottero is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wrestling prevents Cottero from improving his position. Wrestling stalling away here and it's allowed Cottero to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that I Know Wrestling will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A quick step to the side and Wrestling tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Wrestling shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A nice leg kick lands there from Cottero. A nice leg kick lands there from Cottero. Wrestling throws a lazy uppercut
and Cottero counters with a stiff right hand. Wrestling throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cottero tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wrestling is in Cottero's guard. Cottero is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wrestling defends well. Cottero is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cottero looking for a guillotine here but Wrestling defends easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cottero wants to get back to his feet but Wrestling is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Cottero has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wrestling is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wrestling is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cottero.
