Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Ario Grande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Monte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mick Monte! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monte cracks Grande with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Monte connects with a solid leg kick. Monte circles away from the clinch attempt.
Grande checks a leg kick. Grande is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Grande throws a series of punches but Monte avoids them all with ease. Monte throws a low kick but Grande moves out of range easily. Grande thinks about countering with a body kick. Monte bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Grande's head. Grande takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Monte throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Monte takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. A jab from Monte finds it's way through Grande's defenses. Grande scores with a hook to the body. Monte takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Monte lands with a cross. Monte dips to his left and cracks Grande with an uppercut! Grande throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monte fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Grande has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Monte lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looked like Grande wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A jab lands there for Monte. Grande blocks the body kick.
Monte getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Grande takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Good exchange - Monte coming out on top. Grande misses the shot to the body. Monte misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice uppercut lands for Monte. That snapped Grande's head back.

Monte catches Grande with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Monte pivots, looking for a leg kick but Grande is out of range and Monte settles back down. Grande gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Grande lands a two punch combo.
Monte is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Sloppy strikes from Monte. Those never looked like landing. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Monte takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A looping hook to the body misses from Grande. Monte does a little dance to reset his feet. Monte tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Grande is able to avoid easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mick Monte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some bone on bone action there as Grande checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Grande went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Monte throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Monte takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Grande takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Monte swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Grande. Monte throws a low kick but Grande avoids it. Grande seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Monte delivers a nice body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grande checks a leg kick. A punch lands to the side of Grande 's head but he takes it in his stride. Grande swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Monte bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Monte darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Monte throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Grande was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Monte connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Monte tries to land a leg kick but Grande saw it coming and moves away.

Monte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Grande walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Grande uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Monte. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Grande turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Some bone on bone action there as Grande checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Grande fires out a quick counter leg kick but Monte just manages to avoid it. Grande is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Grande misses with a body punch

And that's the end of the fight! Mick Monte comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Monte has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
