The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPetteri throws a nice outside leg kick.

Rautio on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Rautio chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McPetteri can pounce on him.
McPetteri throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rautio's head.
McPetteri throws a push kick but Rautio slaps the foot to one side.
Rautio is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
McPetteri misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McPetteri steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rautio. That one must have hurt.

McPetteri dodges the punch combination from Rautio.

McPetteri throws a low kick, looking for Rautio's leg but Rautio calmly moves out of range.

Rautio sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McPetteri throws a head kick that misses.
McPetteri fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
McPetteri thuds his right hand into Rautio's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Rautio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McPetteri throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
McPetteri throws a leg kick which misses Rautio's front leg but catches the back leg as Rautio tries to avoid it.
Rautio fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rautio drops McPetteri with a naaaaasty hook - McPetteri is in real trouble here! Rautio dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
