Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick Carroll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anaconda King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kendrick Carroll has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kendrick Carroll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anaconda King!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard.

As King looks to move away, Carroll throws a big counter combo but King just gets out of the way.

King drops back, looking for a kneebar! Carroll looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Carroll looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Carroll!

King has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Carroll is fighting off a takedown attempt but King is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Carroll to the mat. Carroll regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
