Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Galvin Brichtle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigorij Defotkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Galvin Brichtle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Grigorij Defotkov! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Defotkov shoots in but no luck this time. Brichtle goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Brichtle clinches. Nice elbow from Defotkov. Brichtle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brichtle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Brichtle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Defotkov's guard. Defotkov wants to sweep here but Brichtle controlling him for the moment. Brichtle controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Brichtle decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Defotkov shoots in but Brichtle avoids the takedown attempt easily. Brichtle stuffs the takedown. Galvin Brichtle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grigorij Defotkov. Defotkov throws a front kick that sends Brichtle stumbling back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Defotkov fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Defotkov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brichtle is fending him off so far but Defotkov persists. Nope, Brichtle circles away and we're back to standing. Defotkov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brichtle as he avoids it easily. Brichtle decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Brichtle trying to mount his opponent but Defotkov defends it. Brichtle stalling. Defotkov works his way to full guard. Good work. Defotkov can't keep his opponent in guard - Brichtle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Defotkov looks gassed! Brichtle sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Defotkov is trying to stand up here but Brichtle is controlling him well. Brichtle frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Brichtle controlling from mount. Brichtle pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brichtle sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Defotkov wants to control but Brichtle is having none of it. Defotkov tries to reverse the position but Brichtle maintains control. Defotkov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Brichtle controlling the pace for now. Defotkov throwing hammer fists to the chest of Brichtle. What's that going to do exactly? Brichtle controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brichtle's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Galvin Brichtle just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Defotkov has his takedown stuffed and Brichtle counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Brichtle looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brichtle decides to return to a standing position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Excellent takedown into side control there by Brichtle. Brichtle working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Galvin Brichtle dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Defotkov gets caught flat footed, as Brichtle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Brichtle controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Brichtle looking to pass the guard. Brichtle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Brichtle gets to his feet. Defotkov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Defotkov doesn't succeed with the takedown and Brichtle counters with a nice double leg into side control. Defotkov won't be happy with that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The referee asks Brichtle politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Brichtle prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brichtle decides to stand up, so the ref orders Defotkov to his feet. Grigorij Defotkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Defotkov tries to clinch up and Brichtle counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Brichtle keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Defotkov trying to hold on to Brichtle's head to control him but Brichtle postures up.
Still in half guard, Brichtle seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Defotkov actively working from the bottom here. Defotkov is in trouble now - Brichtle has advanced to mount! Defotkov wants to hold on but Brichtle pushes him away. Defotkov is working to get back to half guard.
Defotkov is just holding on here. Brichtle manages to take his back.
Brichtle controls the action. Defotkov rolls, trying to escape but Brichtle keeps control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brichtle has got one arm under Defotkov's chin. This could be trouble... Defotkov trying to control the other hand but Brichtle gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Defotkov has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Galvin Brichtle!
