The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald throws a lazy head kick
and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brown blocks a head kick by Fitzgerald.
Brown loads up on a big right hand but Fitzgerald slips the punch.
Fitzgerald misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Brown throws an overhand right that lands on Fitzgerald's shoulder, as Fitzgerald tries to avoid the shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brown connects with a crisp jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fitzgerald lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Brown has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Brown and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Brown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fitzgerald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
Fitzgerald throws a leg kick that misses.
Brown misses the shot to the body.
Fitzgerald was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Brown tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fitzgerald manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fitzgerald is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Brown with a body shot.

Nice straight punches there by Brown. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brown.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

It looked like Brown was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fitzgerald.

Brown swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Fitzgerald does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Brown is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Fitzgerald rolls with it to try and escape but Brown cranks on the arm and Fitzgerald is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
