Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rancho Wildslap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Zimbardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wildslap kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Schwifty. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rancho Wildslap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruce Zimbardo! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zimbardo lands a jab to the nose. Wildslap drops his hands momentarily and Zimbardo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Zimbardo scores with a nice strike. Wildslap has closed the distance and engaged Zimbardo in a clinch.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zimbardo can do anything to dispel that myth. Zimbardo tries to roll over but Wildslap keeps him under control. Wildslap looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Wildslap is keen to just control but Zimbardo is a slippery customer. Zimbardo tries to get to full guard but Wildslap has control of the leg. Wildslap has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Wildslap is working for a kimura but Zimbardo is defending it quite comfortably.

Wildslap trying to control but Zimbardo is working from the bottom. Wildslap postures up and lands a big shot to Zimbardo's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zimbardo looking to control.
Wildslap throws a big elbow that misses. Zimbardo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wildslap trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Wildslap is stalling in the full guard. Wildslap has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Zimbardo keeping moving, preventing Wildslap from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fight moves into the clinch position. Zimbardo is trying to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rancho Wildslap dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Wildslap has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Zimbardo. Wildslap closes the distance and clinches. Zimbardo is trying to maintain a safe position but Wildslap gets an underhook and turns Zimbardo into the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wildslap takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Zimbardo trying to control the position but instead, Wildslap has worked for underhooks and has pushed Zimbardo into the cage. Wildslap taking a breather. Stalling in the clinch from Wildslap.
Wildslap gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zimbardo blocks a body shot from Wildslap. Zimbardo taking a breather. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Wildslap here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Wildslap trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wildslap trying to control the position from guard on top but Zimbardo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wildslap might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wildslap wants to pass the guard but Zimbardo is keeping the position. Zimbardo keeping moving, preventing Wildslap from controlling successfully. Wildslap is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Wildslap trying to control but Zimbardo is working from the bottom.

and Zimbardo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bruce Zimbardo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wildslap closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zimbardo to the mat! Zimbardo manages to get full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wildslap seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wildslap controlling from the top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bruce Zimbardo. I think Wildslap has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
