The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cairn clinches with his opponent.
R jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cairn walks away with a smile on his face. R gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
R looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cairn is fending him off so far but R persists. Nope, Cairn circles away and we're back to standing.

Cairn clinches.
Cairn lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Guigui R has been cut.

R is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
R is trying to break free.
Cairn comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
R wants to break the clinch but can't.
R drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cairn gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Argyle Cairn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guigui R.

Cairn has R pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. R is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Cairn - that's hurt R badly! Oh, another knee lands and R is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but R doesn't seem to be complaining.
