Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Funk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darko Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funk comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth - Peace Sells (But Who's Buying?). Vader has chosen Return of Darko as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funk ducks under a wild hook from Vader.
Funk takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Funk throws a hook but Vader avoids it easily.
It seemed like Vader was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Vader staying out of range there.
Vader missing with a left hand there. Funk was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Funk jabs Vader to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Vader misses with a straight left.
Funk misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vader.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vader is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Funk looks to land a left hand but Vader moved out of range nicely.
Funk looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vader cracks Funk with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vader has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Funk to stand back up!
Funk is rocked!

Vader circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Funk to the canvas! Funk doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Vader keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darko Vader!
Darko Vader decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
