Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deontay Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yef Yew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Juicy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Deontay Hunter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yef Yew! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter throws a chopping leg kick but Yew manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hunter throws a leg kick enabling Yew to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Deontay Hunter has been cut. Hunter throws a body kick that misses and Yew counters with a straight right hand. Hunter swings away with a body shot that misses
and Yew counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hunter thinking. A punch combination from Hunter misses. Hunter attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. A shot to the body from Hunter misses and Yew counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Yew fails in his attempt to clinch. A low kick from Hunter is predictable there and Yew cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hunter swings for the body but Yew moves out of range.
That kick from Hunter tenderised Yew's leg. Yew is trying to keep his angry face on. Yew throws a hook but Hunter blocks it. Hunter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hunter throws a body shot but no joy. Yew looks like he wants to counter punch here. Yew misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yew. Yew avoids the body shot from Hunter.
Hunter on the wrong end of a nice hook. Hunter looks to score with a jab to the body but Yew is just out of range. Yew has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Yew avoids the body shot from Hunter.
Hunter throws a leg kick but Yew sees it coming and moves out of range. Hunter staying out of range there. A chopping leg kick lands by Hunter. Hunter throws a body punch but Yew moves out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Yew! But no joy. Yew misses with a straight left. Hunter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yew. Hunter stuns Yew with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A jab from Yew misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Yew makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Yew missing with a left hand there. Hunter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hunter throwing a counter right hand but Yew manages to avoid it. Hunter works Yew's body with a nice hook. Yew throws a hook but Hunter blocks it. This has been an exciting period of action! Hunter lands a nice hook to Yew's body. Yew takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hunter misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hunter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hunter misses with a shot to the body and Yew cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Deontay Hunter's cut is getting worse. We've been told by Hunter's head coaches at LOD - Slaughterhouse that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Yew might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Hunter takes a swing at Yew's ribcage but misses. Hunter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yew manages to avoid it. Hunter throws a nice looking combination but Yew bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hunter looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hunter is looking to wear down Yew with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Hunter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yew. Hunter misses with a double jab
and Yew counters with a huge left! Hunter is in big trouble! He's backing up but Yew isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hunter from any more damage. A dominating finish by Yew!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yef Yew! Yef Yew is the new middleweight champion! A less than humble Yef Yew misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
