Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ikkaku Madarame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bertil Bengtsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madarame kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bleed It Out. Bengtsson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Easy Does It - WILDSTREET kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madarame shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bengtsson eats them both and turns towards Madarame to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Madarame punishes Bengtsson's body with a nice straight punch.

Madarame seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bengtsson throws a lazy uppercut
and Madarame counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Madarame feints a jab promting Bengtsson to slip. Madarame then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bengtsson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bengtsson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Madarame scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Bengtsson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Madarame is looking to wear down Bengtsson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Bengtsson might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Madarame has got the better of the exchanges.
