The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nevalainen, pushing him back against the cage.
Nevalainen takes a shot to the head.
A short uppercut from Bean.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bean creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bean lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nevalainen backwards.
Bean breaks the clinch.
Bean moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bean lands a nice shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Bean.
Bean connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nevalainen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nevalainen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nevalainen walks into a straight right hand from Bean.
Nevalainen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nevalainen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bean fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nevalainen feinted with a counter takedown.

Nevalainen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Johnny Bean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bean forces Nevalainen back against the cage and clinches.
Bean keeps control of Nevalainen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bean works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Nevalainen takes a shot to the head.
Bean lands with a right to the head.
Nevalainen is rocked!
Nevalainen is breathing heavily.
Bean breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bean fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Oh Nevalainen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bean drops Nevalainen with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Nevalainen! Bean dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
