Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andre Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murilo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Costa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Murilo Silva! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Costa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Costa tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Silva is able to avoid easily. Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Silva feints a jab promting Costa to slip. Silva then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Costa slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Costa throws a lazy body kick and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Costa won't be happy with that. Costa tries to get back to half guard but can't. Costa dodges the ground and pound from Silva. Costa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Silva has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Costa works to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva wants to control from the top but Costa keeps moving. Costa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Costa has Silva pulled in close to control his posture. Costa wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position. Costa controlling the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Costa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away. Costa has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Costa keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Costa looks like he's trying to stand up.
Costa is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Costa avoid being mounted? Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva is keen to just control but Costa is a slippery customer. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Costa makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Costa. Silva is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Silva wants to control from the top but Costa keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Costa misses with a few strikes there.
Costa checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Silva misses with a leg kick. Costa shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murilo Silva dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Costa gets caught flat footed, as Silva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Costa looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Silva passes into side control.
Costa tries to bench press Silva off him but Silva keeps the position. Murilo Silva has got the better of the ground game so far. Silva misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Costa wants to control but Silva postures up. Costa is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Costa is not content to let Silva control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Silva trying to control the action but Costa is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Costa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Costa avoids it really well and circles away. Costa shoots in and gets a takedown into Silva's guard. Costa is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Costa won't allow Silva to sweep him here. Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva controlling the action here. Costa is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Costa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Silva connects with a nice short shot to Costa's temple. Silva wants to control but Costa is keeping him busy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Silva tries to stand and escape but Costa is controlling the position. Costa manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murilo Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Costa has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Silva has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Costa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard. Silva controlling the position. Silva is looking to stand up but Costa isn't so interested in that idea. Costa has gone for a leg lock! Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Costa's guard. Silva trying to control but Costa is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Costa is trying to control the position but Silva postures up. Costa has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Silva has passed into side control.
Silva tries to stand but Costa is controlling his head. Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Costa keeps working.

Costa moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Costa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Silva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Silva wants to get up but he can't break Costa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work. Silva tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silva throwing shots but missing, from side control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Andre Costa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Murilo Silva is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Costa throws a lazy body kick and Silva counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
And that's the end of the fight! Murilo Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Silva winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
