Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taiki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanma comes into the arena with Disl Automatic ft K-rino - Battle Cry blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Baki Hanma has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Baki Hanma seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma avoids the body shot from Aoki.
Aoki moves out of range of the strikes.
Aoki with the counter takedown but Hanma avoids it easily.
Hanma tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aoki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A big left from Hanma misses.
Hanma throws a lazy right hand but Aoki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Aoki counters with a single leg into guard. Hanma didn't expect that.

Hanma has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aoki is working away from the top position though.

Aoki seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Aoki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Aoki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hanma's head.
Aoki takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Aoki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hanma is just riding it out for now. Aoki eventually gives up the hold.
Aoki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hanma sees it coming and defends easily.
Aoki wants to pass to mount but Hanma is defending the position.
Aoki moves into full mount! Hanma won't be happy about that!

Aoki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hanma is looking to escape.
Hanma keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Aoki lands a big elbow - Hanma is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Hanma is forced to tap out!

During a confident post fight interview, Taiki Aoki thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
