Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe County (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Mironov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mironov has chosen Down by Law - by Madball as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
County rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mironov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
County is looking to clinch but Mironov is avoiding it.
Mironov scores with a head kick. County tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
County takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mironov throws a shot from downtown. County moves away and avoids it.
A head kick from Mironov lands but County takes it in his stride.
Mironov moves out of range as County strikes.
County moves into the clinch successfully.
Mironov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. County fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mironov swings around for an armbar but County sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mironov's guard.

A little jabbing left from Mironov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mironov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts County as he jumps to the side.
County cracks Mironov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Joe County seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
County wants to clinch but Mironov slips to the side
and Mironov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

County takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
County is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
County is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Mironov is trying to get back to full guard.
Mironov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as County accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe County will probably get the nod.

That's time! County's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
