Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adriano Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Como (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Como punishes Silva's body with a nice straight punch.
Como fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Como manages to avoid it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Como, right into the meat.
Como throws a low kick but Silva avoids it.

Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Como's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Como looking to control.
Silva prevents Como from getting back to his feet.
Silva's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Como wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Como is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Como has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bill Como is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Como lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.
Silva misses with a hook. Como ducked under it nicely.
A big right from Silva misses.
Como throws a quick inside leg kick.
Como misses with a low kick.
Como misses with the combination.

Bill Como seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Como throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Como swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Como ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Como fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Como swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Como throws a front kick aimed at Silva's knee but Silva avoids it well.
Silva went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva throws a head kick but Como moves out of range.
Silva thows a left - swing and a miss!
A bone on bone clash there as Silva blocks the leg kick.
Silva was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Silva jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Como connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Silva avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A low kick from Como misses
and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A slapping leg kick lands for Como.

Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Silva is working to tighten his grip on Como's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Como has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Silva is really squeezing tight and eventually Como passes out! Silva breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
