Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pepe Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnito Mustacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donnito Mustacho!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez throws a sloppy head kick and Mustacho moves out of range easily.
It seemed like Mustacho was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lopez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mustacho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lopez somewhat.
Lopez throws a lazy right hand but Mustacho sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Mustacho counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Lopez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mustacho but Mustacho pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lopez wants to take a breather but Mustacho is having none of it.

Lopez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mustacho is just riding it out for now. Lopez eventually gives up the hold.
Mustacho felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Pepe Lopez will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pepe Lopez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lopez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mustacho stacks Lopez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mustacho!
Lopez is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Rabid Dog , so we'll see if he gets out of it.
