Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes to the cage accompanied by Young Guns - Bones. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Coleman! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans misses with a right hand and Coleman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Coleman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Evans is fending him off so far but Coleman persists. Nope, Evans circles away and we're back to standing. Black Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coleman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Evans counters with a lovely straight right hand! Coleman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Evans appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Coleman with a lazy takedown attempt and Evans counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Coleman thinking. Coleman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Evans sprawls well. Evans wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet. Richard Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Black Coleman. A nice leg kick lands there from Evans. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Evans tries to avoid it but Coleman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Evans to the ground. Evans escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Coleman fails to land the takedown. Coleman checks the leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman moves into range and clinches up with Evans. Coleman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Coleman postures up.
Coleman connects with a couple of short punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans working for a triangle but Coleman defends it easily.
Evans avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Coleman trying to control but Evans is working from the bottom. Evans looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Coleman throwing strikes from guard but Evans blocks nicely. Evans is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Evans will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Coleman throws a big elbow that misses. Evans looking for a sweep. Not yet Evans, not yet. Coleman working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Evans's head. Coleman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Evans holds on and takes a little breather. Coleman lands a couple of elbows. Coleman stopping the sweep attempt from Evans. Black Coleman dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Coleman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Coleman shoots and misses and Evans counters with a right hand to the body. Coleman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Evans sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Coleman somewhat. Coleman fails in his attempt to clinch. Evans swinging wildly here.
Coleman misses with a left hand and Evans counters with a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Evans but Evans pushes him off and we're back to square one. Richard Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Black Coleman. Coleman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Evans was well out of range. Poor timing from Coleman. Evans bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Coleman's head backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Evans was covering up waiting for the punch and Coleman finishes the takedown easily into guard. Coleman scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Evans utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Evans is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Coleman is in close to Evans's body, working some short punches and elbows. Coleman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Evans manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Coleman has Evans in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Evans doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Evans manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Evans trying to control but Coleman is working from the bottom. Coleman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Evans is one step ahead there. Evans wants to control from the top but Coleman keeps moving.

Coleman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Evans defends it easily. Coleman working a defensive guard here.
Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coleman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Evans wants to control from the top but Coleman keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Coleman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Evans with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Coleman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Evans is staying active underneath Coleman, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Coleman thows a huge punch but Evans dodges it nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Evans tries to get to full guard but Coleman has control of the leg. Coleman throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Evans to regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Richard Evans will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Evans is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Evans connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Richard Evans is winning the standup battle so far. Evans misses the jab. Coleman tries for a takedown but Evans circles away easily and Evans counters with a lovely straight right hand! Coleman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Evans scoring well with a low kick there.
Coleman gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Evans manages to get to full guard.
Coleman throwing strikes from guard but Evans blocks nicely. Evans seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Coleman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Coleman looking to sit in guard and control but Evans gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans preventing the sweep. Evans advances position into side control! Coleman struggling a bit here. Evans is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Coleman's shoulder. That is not cool. Evans is looking to take a break and control but Coleman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Evans wants to stand but Coleman has his arm trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Evans gets to mount! Coleman was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Coleman wants to control but Evans is having none of it. Evans tries to control but Coleman wriggling away. Coleman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Black Coleman has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Evans controlling the action here. Evans working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that's the end of the fight! Richard Evans showed his dominance in that final round. I think Evans has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
