Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edric Baratheon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Major (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edric Baratheon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Major! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baratheon throws a body shot but no joy. A little jabbing left from Major on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Major lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Baratheon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Major. Baratheon shoots for a double leg takedown but Major sprawls well. He's pushed Baratheon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Major stuffs the takedown. Baratheon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Major is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Major utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Major has momentary wrist control but Baratheon slips an elbow through the middle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baratheon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Major preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baratheon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Major works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Baratheon is looking to work some ground and pound but Major has wrist control. Baratheon stays in close to Major's body and controls the position. Baratheon preventing the sweep. Baratheon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baratheon looking to pass the guard. Major trying to keep a closed guard but Baratheon is proving a slippery customer.
Baratheon throws an elbow that misses. Major uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Baratheon's guard. Nice move by Major! Baratheon trying to control the position here. Major trying to control the position from guard on top but Baratheon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Major being controlled here momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Major wants to stand but Baratheon has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Major trying to control the position from guard on top but Baratheon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Major tries a head kick but it misses.
Major scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Baratheon takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Baratheon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Major cracks Baratheon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The ref watches Baratheon closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!

A very excited looking Jack Major made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
