Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gwegowy East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Camble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). East comes to the cage accompanied by I Can't Think- Whole Wheat Bread. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gwegowy East! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ash Camble! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camble is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by East. East with a hook. East lands the left hand. A left lands for Camble. Camble avoids the body shot from East.
Nice defenses there by East. Camble cracks East with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. East misses with a takedown and East takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Camble misses with a few strikes there.
East throws a leg kick but Camble sees it coming and checks it nicely. East throws a leg kick that is checked and East takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. East dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Camble lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A decent looking cross lands there for Camble.
That's one minute gone in the round. Camble stuns East with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nice shot by Camble. East takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Camble is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! East had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Camble ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Camble has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. East uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Camble. Camble cracks East with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. East gets the takedown into side control. Camble is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Camble sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Camble is refusing to be controlled, as East sits in half guard. East is taking a breather. Camble says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. East lands a nice short elbow. East tries to pass to full mount but Camble defends it. East perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Camble trying to control from the bottom.
Camble is looking to improve his position.
East wants to pass to mount but Camble is defending the position. Camble moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Camble has momentary wrist control but East slips an elbow through the middle. Our spies down at at White Lotus inform us that Camble has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Camble controls East momentarily but East frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Camble has control of East's left arm, preventing East from doing any damage. Camble utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Camble trying to keep a closed guard but East is proving a slippery customer.
East is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Camble wants to get back to his feet but East is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Camble tries to clinch but East moves out of range. East throws a low kick but it's checked well by Camble. Camble swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. East looks to land a left hand but Camble moved out of range nicely. Camble lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. East shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Camble connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. East throws a lazy head kick and East takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ash Camble is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. East dives in for a single leg takedown but Camble sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gwegowy East. That's going to take a lot out of him. A decent looking cross lands there for Camble. East tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Camble defends well and East ends up having to push Camble into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gwegowy East seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Camble misses with a body shot.
Camble lands with an overhand left. Camble throws a jab when East was well out of range. East has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from East there as he acknowledges the shot. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Camble with a jab. Camble might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Camble pushing out the jab but it's not landing. East throws an off balance right hand
and Camble connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. East with a poor takedown and Camble counters with a nice uppercut. Camble lands a slapping body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ash Camble dominated that round. That's time! East's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Camble throws a right and a left that both miss. East misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A countering left hand to the body from Camble misses. Camble has been the more effective fighter overall so far. East doesn't succeed with the takedown and Camble counters with a straight right hand. East missing with a left hand there. Camble was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Camble swings for the body but East moves out of range.
Camble throws a looping overhand right but East ducks down to avoid it. Camble fails to land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Camble cracks East with a right hand to the side of the head. East shoots in looking for a takedown. Camble tries to sprawl out of it but East keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Camble manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gwegowy East. That's going to take a lot out of him. East goes for a double leg but Camble avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Camble continues to drive forward.
That's one minute gone in the round. East throws a solid leg kick but Camble takes the impact on his shin and smiles at East. East misses with a body shot
and Camble counters with a stiff right hand. Gwegowy East is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice sprawl there from Camble as East shoots in. East misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Camble.
East looks for a takedown but Camble sprawls well. Camble looks to throw the jab but East is out of range. Camble clobbers East with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Camble cracks a nice hook into East's ribs. East takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ash Camble seems to be getting the better of the standup. East shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. East showed some decent athleticism there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Camble has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but East is on him like a limpet, forcing Camble back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. East taking a breather. Camble lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Camble leaning against his opponent.
East has Camble pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Camble manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Camble lands a nice uppercut. Camble pushes East back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. East wants a takedown but no success here.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Camble presses East against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Camble scores with an uppercut up the middle. Camble lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt East or not. East looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A short left from Camble. Camble stalls. Still in the clinch, Camble scores with a nice short uppercut.
East is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Camble lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Oh East is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Camble makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. East tries to stall but Camble uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

East with a lazy takedown attempt and Camble counters with a huge left! East is in big trouble! He's backing up but Camble isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save East from any more damage. A dominating finish by Camble!
