Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tito Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Duran !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Riddle!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Riddle.
Riddle throws a front kick aimed at Duran 's knee but Duran avoids it well.
It looked like Duran wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Duran moves out of range as Riddle strikes.
It looked like Duran was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Riddle.
A shot to the body from Riddle misses
and Duran counters with a straight right hand.
Duran scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Riddle doesn't seem bothered though.
Riddle moves forwards but Duran connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Riddle is looking to clinch.
Duran swings widly with a right hand
and Riddle counters with a two punch combo.
Riddle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Riddle there as he acknowledges the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duran looks to throw the jab but Riddle is out of range.
Duran walks into a left hand.
Duran is rocked!
Duran misses with an uppercut
and Riddle counters with a big left hand that crumples Duran ! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Justin Riddle!
Justin Riddle decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
