Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker has chosen Flash - Queen as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kelvin Parker enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic Fortune!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kelvin Parker!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortune wants to clinch up but Parker keeps it at a distance.
It seemed like Parker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fortune connects with a crisp jab.
Parker throws a lazy head kick
and Fortune counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fortune misses with a combination
and Parker counters with an outside leg kick.
Fortune has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD - Slaughterhouse in the buildup to the fight.
Parker throws a shot from downtown. Fortune moves away and avoids it.
We've been informed that Parker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Parker throws a wild body kick that Fortune sees coming a mile off.
Fortune lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively.
Kelvin Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fortune turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Parker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fortune.
Parker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fortune takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Parker dodges the punch combination from Fortune.

Fortune moves to clinch but Parker breaks away
and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fortune on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Parker. Parker obviously looking to wear him down.
Fortune misses with an uppercut
and Parker counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fortune's knee momentarily.
Fortune cracks Parker with a right hand to the side of the head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Parker.
Fortune misses with a leg kick
and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Parker takes a swing at Fortune's ribcage but misses.
Fortune attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Fortune throws a looping overhand right but Parker ducks down to avoid it.
Parker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fortune.
Parker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fortune has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parker tests Fortune's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fortune scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fortune takes a swing at Parker's ribcage but misses.
Parker ducks under a wild hook from Fortune.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fortune, right into the meat.
Fortune looks to land a combination but Parker avoids it well.
Parker feints a counter leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Parker, right into the meat.
Parker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fortune fails to land with a series of punches.
Parker takes one on the button.
Parker throws a head kick that Fortune semi-blocks.
Parker throws a leg kick but Fortune sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Fortune feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Parker's calf.
Parker misses with a straight left.
Parker looks to land a right hand but Fortune moved out of range.
Parker throws a jab but it's blocked by Fortune.
Fortune darts in trying to clinch
letting Parker counter with a right hand.
Parker misses with a leg kick
and Fortune counters with a three punch combo that has Parker backing up. Parker nods at Fortune to acknowledge the strikes.
A jab from Parker misses.
Fortune misses with a left hand
and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fortune.
Fortune lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Parker falls backwards - clearly groggy! Fortune dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dominic Fortune!
