Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Tinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Bottura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tinto comes to the cage accompanied by Shell Shocked. Bottura has chosen Face The Pain as his entrance music. Caio Bottura has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Tinto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caio Bottura! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bottura keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tinto. Tinto loads up on a big right hand but Bottura slips the punch. Bottura has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bottura!
It looks like Daniel Tinto has been cut. Bottura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tinto feinted with a counter takedown. Bottura listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Tinto throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bottura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bottura tests Tinto's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bottura looks to score with a jab to the body but Tinto is just out of range. We've been hearing reports that Tinto has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bottura misses with a hook
and Tinto counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bottura tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bottura working for a triangle but Tinto defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bottura isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tinto stacks Bottura on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tinto!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tinto in side control, just content to control the action for now. Bottura is trying to improve his position. Tinto tries for a kimura but Bottura is defending well. Tinto looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tinto is staying tight to Bottura's torso, preventing him from escaping. Tinto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bottura, who protects the arm well. Bottura is looking for a sweep. Bottura is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bottura struggling a bit here. Bottura is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tinto off and has taken his back! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bottura controlling well, preventing Tinto from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tinto turns into Bottura and is now in his guard.

Tinto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bottura keeps working. Bottura is looking to regain half guard here but Tinto keeps moving and retains side control. Bottura is letting Tinto control him for a moment. Bottura tries to improve position but can't. Bottura wants to control but Tinto postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bottura sneaks back into half guard. Bottura actively working from the bottom here. Bottura looking for submissions off his back. Bottura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tinto pulls his head out easily. Tinto passes into side control, despite Bottura's attempt to control the position.
Tinto thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Tinto will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Daniel Tinto's cut. That's time! Tinto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tinto missing with a left hand there. Bottura was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bottura scores with a jab. Tinto takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Bottura throws a nice looking combination but Tinto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tinto is looking to counter the offense by Bottura and move into the clinch. Caio Bottura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bottura sizes up Tinto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bottura swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tinto attempts a counter takedown but Bottura avoids it well and moves away. Bottura misses with a few strikes there.
Tinto drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bottura sprawls and moves away. Bottura thuds his right hand into Tinto's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bottura, as that shot connected.
Tinto on the wrong end of a nice jab. Bottura throws a leg kick which misses Tinto's front leg but catches the back leg as Tinto tries to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bottura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tinto sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tinto takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bottura throws a body kick that misses and Tinto decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bottura's guard. Bottura throws his legs up looking for a submission but Tinto uses it to pass to side control.
Bottura is not content to let Tinto control the position. Bottura tries to improve position but can't. Bottura manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bottura is looking to control Tinto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bottura avoid being mounted? Tinto missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bottura actively working from the bottom here. Tinto trying to control the action but Bottura is working from the bottom. Tinto not doing much here.

Bottura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tinto pulls his head out easily. Bottura looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Tinto controlling the action here. Daniel Tinto overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tinto is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bottura is pressing down on Tinto's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Tinto trying to control but Bottura is working from the bottom. Bottura is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tinto defends well. Tinto controls from within his opponent's guard. Bottura throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bottura keeping full guard, as Tinto tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caio Bottura showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Daniel Tinto's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Tinto is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bottura defends it well.

Bottura doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tinto. Bottura is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bottura is looking to reverse the position. Tinto wants to control but Bottura is keeping him busy. Bottura is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bottura is trying to control Tinto's posture but Tinto avoids it. Tinto is looking to take a break and control but Bottura is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tinto thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Tinto wants to control but Bottura is keeping him busy. Bottura gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Tinto looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bottura wants to control the action here but instead Tinto manages to pass to full mount! Bottura holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Tinto tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Bottura regains half guard. Tinto is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bottura looking for submissions off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daniel Tinto. I think Tinto has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
