Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Farouk Al Ahwei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raijin Kage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al Ahwei's entrance music is Whirling Madness. A fine choice. Kage has chosen Ride the Lightning as his entrance music. Raijin Kage has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Farouk Al Ahwei's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Farouk Al Ahwei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raijin Kage! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kage drives through with a takedown into guard. Al Ahwei is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Al Ahwei is looking for a triangle but Kage pushes his legs off easily.
Kage wants to pass the guard but Al Ahwei is keeping the position. Al Ahwei escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kage postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kage stands up over Al Ahwei, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Al Ahwei has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kage is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Al Ahwei. Al Ahwei is trying to improve his position. My spies in Brazilian Elite Team inform me that Kage has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kage lands an elbow. Al Ahwei sneaks back into half guard. Kage wants to work for an arm triangle but Al Ahwei is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kage is trying to control. Al Ahwei wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Al Ahwei regains full guard. Nicely done. Al Ahwei seems keen to control Kage's posture. Al Ahwei throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kage trying to control but Al Ahwei is working from the bottom. Al Ahwei looking for a triangle here. Kage is fighting it but it looks tight! Al Ahwei pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kage is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Farouk Al Ahwei! Farouk Al Ahwei decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. In defeat, Raijin Kage stepped up to the mic, saying 'The storm only gets stronger...'.
