Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Franco Micheli!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Micheli drives through and clinches with Gustavsson against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Gustavsson fails to land.
Micheli blocks an uppercut.
Micheli with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Micheli is trying to push Gustavsson away but Gustavsson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Micheli is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A left hand lands to the body for Gustavsson.

Micheli has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gustavsson after a bit of a struggle.
Gustavsson tries to throw a body punch but Micheli avoids it by throwing Gustavsson back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gustavsson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Micheli content to slow the pace in the clinch.
I was talking to Gustavsson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Micheli goes for a takedown attempt but Gustavsson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gustav Gustavsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franco Micheli.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Micheli thows a leg kick but Gustavsson checks it
and Gustavsson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Franco Micheli has been cut.
Micheli is looking to clinch but Gustavsson is avoiding it.

Micheli moves into range and clinches up with Gustavsson.
Gustavsson lands with a left to the head.

Micheli is rocked!
Gustavsson digs a right hand underneath Micheli's ribcage. Micheli let out a lung full of air as it connected.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gustavsson.
Gustavsson scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Micheli is still on wobbly legs! Can Gustavsson finish him?
Micheli with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Gustavsson throws a big uppercut that drops Micheli! More strikes from Gustavsson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Micheli lies dazed against the cage as Gustavsson celebrates with his cornermen!
