Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bushido Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Cuida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray Cuida struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bushido Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Cuida! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cuida's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brown under the eye. Cuida slips under a jab. Cuida swings widly with a right hand
letting Brown counter with a right hand. Cuida throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cuida throws a good cross that connects.
Cuida throws a hook but Brown blocks it. Cuida jabbing away but nothing is landing. Brown shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Brown is looking for a kimura but Cuida is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brown to get the leverage. Cuida is staying active underneath Brown, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Brown performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cuida knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Brown is working hard here to advance position. Brown is trying to control. Cuida wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Brown controlling the action here. Cuida is trying to control but can't.
Cuida is defending against the submission attempts here by Brown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Cuida trying to control but Brown postures up.
Cuida wants to get back to full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Brown is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cuida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brown is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cuida doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown. Cuida is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Brown misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cuida counters with a nice uppercut. Cuida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brown misses with a hook. Cuida ducked under it nicely. Brown waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cuida. Cuida keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cuida looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Brown throws a big shot that misses. Nice defenses there by Brown. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown misses with a wild body shot. Brown uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cuida. Brown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cuida as he avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bushido Brown will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cuida slips a jab from Brown. Cuida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it. Brown attempts a counter takedown but Cuida avoids it well and moves away. Gray Cuida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cuida misses with a hook
and Brown counters with a stiff right hand. A looping hook to the body misses from Cuida. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet. Cuida lunges at Brown with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brown's hand. Brown is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Brown on the wrong end of a nice hook. Brown misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown tests Cuida's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cuida is rocked! BAM! Brown delivers a spinning backfist that drops Cuida like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Bushido Brown! Bushido Brown spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. Gray Cuida spoke after the fight, saying 'This is why I run...'.
