Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Karl Se (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Se! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Pearson! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Se takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Johnny Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Se scores with a takedown into Pearson's guard. Se postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pearson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Se, into his guard.
Pearson gets to his feet. Se looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Pearson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Se lands a jab to Pearson's midsection. Pearson loads up on a big right hand but Se slips the punch. Se takes a body punch but keeps moving. Pearson tries to clinch up. Pearson cracks Se with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fight stays on the outside here - Pearson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Se wants to break the clinch but can't.
Pearson keeps control of Se as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pearson throws a punch but it's blocked by Se. Pearson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A left hand lands to the body for Pearson.
Pearson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Se blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pearson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Pearson tries a body shot but Se blocks it.

Pearson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Se backwards. Se takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Karl Se has been cut. Our sources have told us that Se has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Pearson landing knees to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pearson throws a head punch that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short right from Pearson on the inside. Pearson lands a nice uppercut. Se tries to pull guard but Pearson holds him up against the cage and eventually Se drops back down to his feet.

Se is breathing heavily. Se goes for a takedown attempt but Pearson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Pearson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Se takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Se throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Pearson tries to counter by closing the distance. Se throws a nice looking combination but Pearson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pearson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Se walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Se is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearson misses the shot to the body. Pearson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Pearson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Se was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Pearson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pearson delivers a nice body kick. Pearson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ses jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Pearson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Se closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Pearson tries to clinch but Se moves out of range. Se gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Pearson stuffs the takedown attempt from Se. Se gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Se. That's going to take a lot out of him. Se tries to keep at a distance but Pearson has taken the fight into the clinch. Pearson is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Se prevents a body shot from Pearson. Se wants to get back to striking at distance but Pearson won't allow it.
Pearson gets through Se's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A left hand lands to the body for Pearson.

Se is trying to break free. Pearson scores with a shoulder strike. Pearson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Pearson struggles to land a body shot inside as Se controls his hands.
A frustrated look appears on Se's face as he tries to break the clinch. Pearson lands a body punch. Se tries to pull guard but Pearson forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Pearson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Se takes a shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Pearson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Karl Se's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Pearson lands with a right hand. Oh Se is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Pearson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Se seems to have got his legs back now. Pearson takes a swing at Se's ribcage but misses. Se swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Se looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pearson is fending him off so far but Se persists. Nope, Pearson circles away and we're back to standing. Karl Se is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pearson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Se looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Pearson drives through and clinches with Se against the cage.
Se wants to break free but Pearson has control.

Se takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Se walks into a jab. Pearson tests Se's chin there with a solid looking shot. Se fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pearson lands a body shot.

Johnny Pearson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Karl Se's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pearson in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Pearson cracks Se with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Pearson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Se's hands.
