Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vann Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rokki Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rokki Kukko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vann Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rokki Kukko! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight misses with a head kick.
Kukko misses with a body shot.
Kukko dives in and scores a takedown into Knight's guard. Kukko stopping the sweep attempt from Knight. Kukko postures up in Knight's guard and throws a big left but Knight blocks it. Kukko controlling from the top position. Kukko trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kukko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight looking for a sweep. Not yet Knight, not yet. Kukko has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kukko cracks Knight with a solid left hand. Kukko trying to control but Knight is working from the bottom. Knight pulls Kukko in close to prevent any damage. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kukko trying to control the position from guard on top but Knight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Vann Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kukko throws a hook but Knight blocks it. Knight was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kukko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kukko on the wrong end of a nice hook. Knight misses with a wild body shot. Kukko has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kukko there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kukko connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Vann Knight has been cut. Kukko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Knight to score with a decent uppercut. Kukko finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kukko misses with a hook
and Knight counters with a nice uppercut. Knight drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big right from Knight misses. Kukko misses with a straight right. Knight lands a nice hook to Kukko's body. Kukko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Knight lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Knight throws a combination. Kukko tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kukko catches Knight with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Knight is rocked! Knight misses with a wild body shot. Oh Knight is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Knight lands a glancing blow to the side of Kukko's head. Knight seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Knight chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kukko ducks under a wild hook from Knight. Knight feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kukkos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Knight throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been told by Knight's head coaches at Touch-butt with that dork in the park that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Knight throws a right and a left that both miss. Kukko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kukko connects with the punch. Both fighters circling a little - Knight finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A big left from Knight misses. Knight tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A jab from Kukko misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight is looking to slow Kukko down with leg kicks. Good standup being displayed there by Knight as he connects with a hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kukko takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kukko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Knight has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Knight and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Knight is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Knight takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kukko steps in with a hook that catches Knight right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kukko follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Knight looks absolutely devastated.
