The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peebles takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Djuretic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Peebles moves away.
Djuretic bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Peebles fails to land with a series of punches.
Djuretic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peebles.

Djuretic unleashes a big counter combination but Peebles bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Peebles throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Djuretic's waist but Djuretic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peebles off to one side.

The fighters circle momentarily. Djuretic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Peebles chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Djuretic can pounce on him.

Peebles drops back, looking for a kneebar! Djuretic looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Djuretic looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Djuretic!

You can see the frustration on Peebles's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
