Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Hemmingworth and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine swings for the body but Jacobs moves out of range.
Caine misses with a hook. Jacobs ducked under it nicely.
Caine gets the takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Jacobs's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Caine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jacobs is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jacobs sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Jacobs wants to control but Caine is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Caine is trying to control the action in half guard but Jacobs is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Caine thows a huge punch but Jacobs dodges it nicely.
Caine thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Caine is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Jacobs is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Caine misses with a head shot.

It looks like Caine might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Jacobs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Caine on the ground.

Caine wants to finish this one by submission but Jacobs is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Caine.
Caine is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jacobs is surviving well by controlling Caine's body position as best he can.

Jacobs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jacobs avoids a series of strikes thrown by Caine.
Caine breaks from Jacobs's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jacobs wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Caine.
Caine throwing strikes here but Jacobs is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Caine jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jacobs manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Caine is trying to get an arm triangle but Jacobs is defending well.

Jacobs is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Caine misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Jacobs stops Caine from passing to mount.

Caine is working to tighten his grip on Jacobs's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jacobs has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Caine is really squeezing tight and eventually Jacobs passes out! Caine breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
