Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ken Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Jordan! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jordan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cruz fails in his attempt to clinch. Cruz tests Jordan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jordan closes the distance and clinches. Our sources have told us that Cruz has been working on his elbows in the gym. Jordan gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jordan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Cruz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jordan wants to take a breather but Cruz is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jordan is trying to work for a kimura but Cruz is defending well.
Jordan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jordan lands with a punch from half guard. Ground and pound from Jordan. Jordan is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jordan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cruz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jordan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cruz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jordan in particular looking to stall. Cruz tries to kick Jordan off but Jordan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cruz is breathing heavily. Jordan stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jordan trying to advance position but Cruz counters by regaining guard. Jordan wants to control from the top but Cruz keeps moving. Jordan is pushing down on Cruz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cruz is fighting to maintain full guard but Jordan has managed to sneak the leg through. Jordan working over Cruz with some ground and pound. Cruz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jordan is working for a submission of some sort.
Jordan is trying to work for a kimura but Cruz is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan trying to control from half guard but Cruz is working away. Jordan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cruz haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jordan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Jordan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cruz defending well though. Jordan prevents Cruz from standing back up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jordan is pressing down on Cruz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cruz is holding on for now. Jordan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jordan uses his free foot to push down on Cruz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cruz. Jordan looking to isolate an arm here. Cruz doesn't see it coming and as Jordan extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Jordan!
