The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pecilli misses with a hook
and Dodson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Guillermo Pecilli has been cut.
Pecilli misses with an uppercut
and Dodson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dodson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Pecilli misses with a hook. Dodson ducked under it nicely.
Dodson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pecilli tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dodson manages to circle out of the way.
Dodson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pecilli tries to counter by clinching up but Dodson breaks away and moves out of range.
A jab from Pecilli does it's job there.
Nice uppercut there from Dodson .
Pecilli misses with a hook to the body
and Dodson counters with a stiff right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pecilli jabs Dodson right on the nose. Dodson blinks but takes it well.
Guillermo Pecilli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dodson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Dodson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pecilli manages to avoid it.
Pecilli takes a swing at Dodson 's ribcage but misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pecilli. Dodson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pecilli missing with a left hand there. Dodson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pecilli lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Dodson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pecilli stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pecilli moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pecilli thows a left - swing and a miss!

enabling Dodson to counter with a crisp jab.
Pecilli is rocked!
Pecilli throws a poor cross that misses
and Dodson counters with a crisp right that sends Pecilli to the canvas! Dodson follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
